200 Residents in Duri Kepa Undergoing Covid-19 Rapid Tests

Residents living in RW 02, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta are undergoing a COVID-19 rapid test at Katolik Abdi Siswa School conducted by the West Jakarta Health Sub-agency today, Thursday (5/14).

Around 200 people undergo the rapid test, especially those who are very risky

According to Kristy Wathini, Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-agency, it is held in a densely populated area in order to find out the results as early as possible.

"Around 200 people undergo the rapid test, especially those who are very risky," he expressed.

If the virus case is found, the person will undergo swab tests. While awaiting the results, his side has prepared the Kebon Jeruk Sport Hall (GOR) as a self-isolation chamber.

"If the test results are positive, the person will be referred to hospital," he stressed.

West Jakarta Government Assistant Yunus Burhan added rapid test is prioritized in areas that have coronavirus cases and includes the red zone. It is done to find out early results in order to minimize the virus infections.

"Hopefully this virus can be stopped and people under monitoring (ODP) and patients under surveillance (PDP) do not interact for a while," he closed.
